This was my first time using Portland Automotive. I needed a replacement side mirror installed as quick as possible. They were able to get the part here in just a few days, and installed it in a few hours, all without breaking the bank. Extremely kind and courteous staff made the experience very pleasant. I have an '07 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was making a sound like a Gatling gun when I accelerated. Another place I took it said it was the transfer case and it was going to be very expensive. I did some research and found this was going to be the case, so I called Portland Auto to see if they could do it and provide a loaner while mine was in the shop. The loaner, though old, was in good shape, clean, and drove well. The repairs took over a week and there was a hidden and more pressing issue that needed to be addressed before the transfer case. Ted explained the situation in terms I could understand and gave me good estimates on the repairs. Afet seeing the bill and comparing it to the transfwer cases I saw on the Web, the price was very reasonable. My Jeep runs well now and I'm grateful for their expertise in fixing my ailing Jeep.
